Ostéopénie
The ostéopénie is not a disease, it represents a fall of the Densité of the Os. It is about a physiological state. It is a precursor of the Ostéoporose. One estimates that juqu' at 11% of fall of the osseous density, it acts of ostéopénie, osseous rarefaction, embrittlement of bone tissue. Beyond that, it is about osteoporosis. The ostéopénie is thus an intermediate state between the normal bone and the osteoporosis.
One measures the osseous mineral density by means of the absorptiometry. It is what one calls the Ostéodensitométrie.
The deficiencies in Calcium and Vitamine D worsens the ostéopénie.
