Osseous Marrow

The osseous marrow is a fabric located at the center of the Os. It is the fabric which produces the various types of cells of blood: white globules (leucocytes), red globules (érythrocytes or red blood corpuscles) and plates. Osseous marrow contains two types of specific cells: the hematopoietic original cells (CSH) and the cells of the medullary stroma which are the hematopoietic cells .
The HSC are known as multipotentes: they are able to differ from it each type of blood cells; each time a HSC is divided into 2 cells, a cell will allow the maintenance of the stock of HSC and the other will be different in one from the three types of blood cell: Leucocyte, red globule or plate. The cells stromales constitute a fabric of support which allows the multiplication of the HSC and their differentiation. They are they also able to be different in many cellular types.
The long bones have a structure in form of tube, and their central hole is filled with yellow marrow. While the majority of the long bone (Diaphyse) is made of compact matter, at its ends the épiphyses find, which are generally made of spongy matter and red marrow. The bone is tranversé by arteries and veins, which enables him to be nourished and what enables him to make pass the cells resulting from the hématopoïèse of marrow in blood.
Osseous marrow and food
Osseous marrow any more is not very much used in kitchen, except scenting soups, the bubbles. It is however a source of Protéine S, and a considerable way, fatty-acids mono-unsaturates. As the latter cause a drop in the rate of Cholestérol, the absence of cardiac problems and obesity among our ancestors Hominides was justified by certain by their regular consumption of osseous marrow. But it was also noted the fact that they were more active than and died to us young people, other causes. The current effects of the regular consumption of osseous marrow on health are unknown.
