Ossètes

The Ossètes , or Oses , train alive people in the the Caucasus, in Russia and Georgia.

Going down from the Alains (people himself descending from the Scythian ), they are the last representatives of these people. It is people of the group Indo-European.

They were subjected by the Russians starting from 1774.

Their language, the Ossète, was studied by Georges Dumézil, through their legends (in particular that of the Nartes), the ossète is a Iranian language. Ossètes are in majority orthodoxe Chrétiens.
