Osman 1st (Turkish: Sultan Osman Gazi rahimahou llah) (Osman deformation of the Arab : عُثمَان `uθmān, `Uthman ) (Turkish: gazi, triumphant victor; combatant of the faith ) was born in 1258 in Sogut (Turkish: Söğüt).
