Oshkosh is a city located there or water of the river Fox arrives in the Lac Winnebago in the county of Winnebago at the Wisconsin. According to a census of 2000, the city would have a population of approximately 62.916 inhabitants.

History

Oshkosh was named according to a chief Menominee called Os-kosh, which means " griffe". The first European residents go back to 1818. Oshkosh became a city in 1853 and had a population of almost 2800 inhabitants.
