Oscar of the best adapted scenario
The Oscar of the best scenario adapted is one of the disputed prices of Academy Awards, the rewards cinematographic most important in the United States. It is allotted each year to the author of a scenario coming from another source (usually of a book or a play). See also the Oscar of the best original screenplay, a similar reward for a scenario not being adapted. A list of the people follows having gained this gratification. This Oscar was initially allotted with name Best Writing, Adaptation.
