Oscar Kashala Lukumuenda

Oscar Kashala Lukumuenda , born the August 4th 1954 with Lubumbashi in Democratic republic of Congo is doctor and professor in medicine. In 2006, it is presented in the form of a candidate to Congolese presidential election. It founded the Union for the Rebuilding of Congo (UREC), a political party in Congo.

Biography

Of a family of 8 children, it makes its secondary studies with the college Saint-François de Sale with Lubumbashi and begins its academic works at the Medical college from the Université of Kinshasa in 1974. In 1980, it is graduate under Doctor of medicine, surgery and childbirth and continues a specialization in pathology. It leaves in training course to the Université Lausanne and the Université Geneva in Suisse as an assisting doctor. It defends then its thesis in pathology at the University of Kinshasa or it receives the diploma for the occupation of specialist in pathology.

In 1986 Kashala Oscar is named director of the National center of cancer, and from there plutart will be studied with the the United States of America, in Cancérologie, Virologie and Immunologie with the Université Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute off Technology. In 1992, he is proclaimed doctor of sciences at the University of Harvard.

In 1992, Kashala joined the company of biotechnology Cambridge Biotech Corporation in the Massachusetts as a director of the tropical diseases.
