Orthodoxe Church syro-malankare
The orthodoxe Église syro-malankare is an autonomous Eastern orthodoxe Church canonically attached to the orthodoxe syriaque Église (Patriarchate of Antioche). The chief of the Church carries the title of Maphrien and Catholicos of India , with residence with Puthencuriz in the district of Ernakulam to the Kerala. The current holder is Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I {{er}} since the July 26th 2002.
It is distinguished from the orthodoxe Église malankare of the same tradition but autocéphale.
