Orthodoxe Church malankare

The orthodoxe Church malankare or orthodoxe Indian Église is an Eastern orthodoxe Church autocéphale Kerala in India. It belongs to the whole of the Églises of the three councils. The chief of Church carries the title of Catholicos of the East and Métropolite of Malankara with residence to Kottayam (titular current: Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Didymos I {{er}} since the October 30th 2005).

The orthodoxe Church malankare autocéphale must be distinguished from the orthodoxe Église syro-malankare of the same tradition but canonically attached to the orthodoxe syriaque Église (Patriarchate of Antioche).
