Orpheon foundation

Created by Jose Vàzquez, professor of Viola da gamba at the university of music of Vienna (Austria), the label Orpheon gathers an orchestra Baroque, a consort of violas da gamba, a foundation and a new concept of museum living of instruments of musique.
The Orpheon collection gathers currently more than 120 musical instruments dating from XVIe at the XVIIIe century. These instruments all were given in a state of play and are played by Orpheon consort , the Orpheon baroque orchestrated or by musicians who profit from a loan with vie.
The collection is visible during temporary exhibitions which have miles in the whole world.
