Orosirien
On the geological time scale, the Orosirien is an intermediate geological system of the era of the Paléoprotérozoïque which extends from -2.050 to -1.800 My.

In Greek, will orosira means “assembly line. ”
Major events

Two events of impact occurred during Orosirien. The first, estimated towards -2.023 My, gave place to the Dôme of Vredefort. A second impact, towards -1.850 My, produced the structure of the Bassin of Sudbury.
