Ornex
Ornex is a common Frenchwoman of the Département of Ain, located in the Pays of Gex, near Ferney-Voltaire.

History
The commune of Ornex has a very great historical heritage. The oldest house of Ornex (belonging now to the alliance of the family Bétems and Jaillet) was built during XIVeme century. Many native families still live there, such as families Jacqemet, Bétems, Gras, etc During the Second world war, this commune was not very touched because of its proximity with Switzerland. Only the activities of resistance were the fact of making pass from the people to Switzerland.
