Ormia ochracea

Ormia ochracea is a small fly of the family of the Tachinidae. This species parasitizes a cricket ( Teleogryllus oceanicus ) which one meets with Hawaii. It lays its egg S on the males and locates the host S potentials of his Larve S thanks to their stridulations. The parasitized crickets die in one week.
