Orleans Express train

History

Orleans Express is a transport company by bus which began its activity in July 1990 with the purchase of the remainder of the company Voyageur Inc, with the Quebec. It is the principal interurban conveyer of passengers in Quebec.

In 2002, Kéolis , a company which is the leader of the transport of passengers in France, buys 75% of the shares of the company Orleans Express , the other 25% resident the property of his president and chief of the direction Sylvain Langis. Kéolis S.A. is present in several countries in Europe and with the Canada.

In 2006, the Group Orleans Express train account 500 employees and approximately 70 buses. They transport approximately 1,7 million passengers and approximately 1 million parcel per annum. Their buses traverse nearly 12 million kilometers per year through Quebec.

Transport of parcel

Since October 31st, 2003, the Group Orleans Express transports parcels thanks to a new system called Expédibus.
