GeographyThe Orissa is bordered by bay of Bengal in the east, the new state of the Jharkhand and the Western Bengal in north, the new state of Chhattisgarh in the west and the Andhra Pradesh in the south.
EconomyThe Orissa has 90% of the Indian chromium reserves, 70% of that of bauxite and 24% of those of coal.
CultureOne of the forms of ballet dancing of the India, the Odissi, is originating in Orissa.
