Oriel College

Oriel College (complete name: The Provost and Scholars off the House off the Blessed Mary the Virgin in Oxford, commonly called Oriel College, off the Foundation off Edward the Second off famous memory, sometime King off England ) is one of the colleges constitutive of the Université of Oxford, with the the United Kingdom.

It was founded in 1324 per Adam of Bromine and the foundation was confirmed in a charter in January 1326 by Edouard II of England, which makes the first college of Oxford of it have a royal foundation.
