Orgerus
Orgerus is a common French, located in the department of the Yvelines and the area Île-de-France.
Its inhabitants is called the Orgerussiens .
Geography
The commune of Orgerus is to approximately 20 km in the south of Mantes-the-Pretty, on a plate with agricultural vocation, at an average altitude of 120 meters rising regularly towards the south.The territory is irrigated by several brooks, in particular the Ru of the mill of the pond which is thrown in Flexanville, tributary of the Vaucouleurs. It is wooded in its southern part which belongs to the forest of the Four pillars (main forest of Rambouillet).
The communes bordering are Saint-Martin-of-Fields in north, Osmoy in the North-East, Flexanville with the east-north-east, Béhoust in the east, Millemont in south-east, Bazainville in south-west, Tacoignières in the west and Prunay-the-Temple in the North-West.
The commune is served by the departmental road roadway system, knowledge the secondary road 42 connecting Septeuil to north with Neauphle-the-Old man in south-east and the secondary road 45 connecting Orgeval to the North-East with Richebourg in south-west.
It has a Gare ('' Orgerus-Béhoust '') on the Ligne Paris-Granville.
It is crossed of west in is by the Aqueduc of Avre.
The habitat is relatively spread out around the old village surrounded by many Lotissement S suburban, and in several variations such as Moutier , Béconcelle , the Pre one of Orgerus , Aunay , Goupillerie …

In the past Bisconcella , Beconcelles and, in XIIIe century, “Orgerus”, of the name of a lord of the place.
