The organizations altermondialists gather people of very diverse horizons: farming community, layers popular and lower middle class of the South, the poor and precarious employees of the industrialized countries, working and teaching trade unions, consumers' associations, of researchers, young people, movements ecologists, antimilitarists, feminists, Communists, Marxists, nationalists, keynésiens and anarchistes...org anisated in small associations, ONG, national coordinations, international.

One can more or less classify them by category, and certainly not in an exhaustive way. That does not completely reflect the reality of the organizations individually but gives a first approach of the heterogeneity of the movement altermondialist:

  • the organized labor and trade-union
  • country movements
  • associations, ONG general practitioners
  • the feminist ecologists
  • Organizations
  • Organizations of theoretical analysis and proposals; the media
  • radical Organizations
  • Movements of without, defense of precarized-->
  • The organized labor and trade-union

Located in America, Asia, Europe, they reappear since the world demonstration of Seattle in 1999. Examples:
    • trade unions of the European Public Service Union Interdependent (whose majority uses the Southern acronym) in France.
    • the KCTU in South Korea,
    • AFL-CIO * (A) president John Sweeney
    • Teamsters ** trade union of the truck-drivers, the most important of number with HAVE, with more than 1.300.000 of affiliated
    • IWW Industrial Workers off the revolutionary World ** trade union of anarchistic orientation
