Organization of the Treaty of collective security
The Organization of the Treaty of collective security (OTSC) (in Russian: ОрганизацияДоговораоколлективнойбезопасности (ОДКБ)) is an organization with vocation politico-soldier gathering various countries of Central Asia: the Arménie, the Bielorussia, the Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyzstan, the Ouzbékistan, the Russia and the Tadjikistan.
The treaty of collective security had been signed in 1992 and had the appearance of an armed wing of the Communauté of the independent States, fighting in particular against the Terrorisme and the Mafia S. Aujourd'hui, with the decline of the CEI, the OTSC remains however very active in Central Asia and seems from now on the complement politico-soldier of the Eurasian Economic community (EAEC), which gathers Russia, Bielorussia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan, Ouzbékistan and Tadjikistan.
The Azerbaïdjan and the Georgia, signatories of the treaty, since left the organization. Ouzbékistan made in the same way, but at the beginning of year 2006 reinstated it.
