In economic Intelligence, the organization in réseaux' is one of the 11 factors of the economic model of intelligence. It relates to the organization of the human networks.

Types of networks

One generally distinguishes four types of networks:

  • networks of competence: they are for example the Pôles of competence, the Entreprises wide, which weave bonds according to the professional Compétence S.

  • networks of confidence: they are most durable (friends, family,…).

  • networks of circumstance: they are set up in the urgency to answer a precise problem; they are very seldom evoked by the industrialists.

Criteria

The economic model of Intelligence of the AFDIE distinguishes 9 criteria:

  3. To create ad hoc networks,
  4. To control oral and written information,
  5. To associate internal and external complementarities,
  6. To give direction to dispersed information,
  7. To create Knowledge S news and to support the training,
  8. To disseminate information and to fight its retention inside the network,
  9. To clarify and prepare the strategies of lobbying and Influence.

For these criteria, it would be necessary to add a criterion of safety, concerning the protection of the informational Patrimoine divided by the network.

Translation in the data-processing networks

When the network is consisted a Communauté of interest which works on the basis of shared interest, the satisfaction of the criteria of economic Intelligence can be obtained effectively by the use of standards of Métadonnée S (Registre of metadata,…). Those will allow:

  1. to define the common objectives,
  2. to improve the research of information by the search engines,
  3. to formalize the networks according to Given S precise and validated,
  4. to control the open sources,
  5. to identify the Competence S necessary,
  6. to go in the direction of the strategic directions and to conform to the regulation,
  7. to structure the access to the computer's resources and their diffusion,
  8. to gather documentation by the electronic Management of the documents,

and especially to protect the informational Inheritance, and to avoid the risks of technological Plundering.

The strategy given in Network-centered ( Net-Centric Dated Strategy ) of the Department of Defense of the United States rests on three key elements, of which the first is the definition of Communautés of interest.
