Orfeu Negro is a free-italiano-Brazilian Musical film of Marcel Camus left in 1959.
This film revisits the myth of Orphée and Eurydice while transposing it of Thrace to Rio de Janeiro during the Carnaval.
It is adapted of a part of Vinicius de Moraes. The songs of film, become of the standards of Worked nova and of Jazz were composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luiz Bonfá.
