Orense
Orense (in Galician and officially: Ourense ) is a town of Spain, in the autonomous community of Galicia, capital of the Province of Orense. It is crossed by the river Miño. Its population is of approximately 107 000 inhabitants. It is the 3rd town of Galicia by its population behind Vigo and Corogne.

Orense is the Spanish toponym recognized by the Spanish Royal Academy (Real Academia Española), and is thus used in the nonofficial documents and the conversations in Castilian.

History
Baptized by the Romans the “city of gold” ( Auriense ) because of its abundance of this metal, it was an important city of the Roman province of Hispania until its gold reserves become exhausted.Old Roman city and capital of the Suèves (Life-VIIe S.)
Considered for its sources of warm water, of which most known is As Burgas , which made the happiness of the Romans.
