Order of large the gidouille

The Ordre of Large Gidouille (OGG) is an institution of the Collège of 'Pataphysique.

As of 1948, the College of 'Pataphysique restores “in its extreme gloss”, the order promulgated by Alfred Jarry in his Almanach of illustrated the Ubu Father (January, February, Mars 1899). The principal dignitaries of the College of 'Pataphysique are all members of the OGG, but the order can also distinguish somebody apart from the College, to reward its merit pataphysic or its specific and particularly remarkable action with a manifestation of the College. Boris Vian for example was Grand Master (GMOGG) and “distinguished promoter” with the College, but Henri Salvador without being member of the College is commander of the order.

According to the regulations of these Statutes, the Order remains faithful to the principle of the plurality of the Large-Masters or Ubus Fathers.
the Irremovable Curator, Staroste and the Vice-Curator, Provéditeurs and the Satraps of the College of 'Pataphysique are of Right Large-Masters about Large Gidouille and constitute by their meeting the Supreme council of the Order, which the Irremovable Curator and in his absence chairs the Vice-Curator.
