The Captain Antoine of Saint Exupéry (1900 - 1944) remained in the commune during the winter 1939, with the Group of Great Recognition 2/33; he evokes this period and the farm (opposite the church) where he lived in " Pilot of Guerre".

Today, the ground from where it took off is become again a field, joint between the 2 neighbouring communes. The place of the village bears its name.
