Orbit

ORBit is component a CORBA ORB. The current version is called ORBit2; the corresponding version of CORBA is V2.4. It was developed under license LPG.

ORBit2 and is used like Middleware for the project GNOME.

Opening of a session GNOME

On the opening of a session GNOME (i.e. after the seizure of the login and the password), there is creation of a repertory (for example orbit-Dupont ), in this repertory, there is creation of
  • 2 files (names with the format bonobo - activation-*)
  • a score of files of the type socket (names with the format linc-xxxx-0-xxxxxxxxx )
