Orazio Borgianni

Orazio Borgianni (Rome, ~1575 - Rome, 1616) is an Italian painter Baroque Settecento and the brother-in-law of the sculptor and architect Giulio Lasso.

Left for Sicily then to Spain it returns to Rome about 1602.

There is opposed to Caravage and remains influenced by its style. One speaks in this connection about caravagesque naturalism .

Its most known work relates to several tables on the life of Saint Charles Borromée (church Saint-Charles-of-Four-Fountains of Rome).
