Orange Business Services (often shortened under the initials OBS ) is the new commercial identity (since June 1st, 2006) which gathers the solutions and telecommunication services and of data processing departments dedicated to the companies and the public sector previously marketed by Orange, Equant, TRANSPAC and France Telecom, like Etrali, Almerys, EGT, Expertel Consulting, France Telecom Intelmatique, SETIB, Silicomp and Solicia.

Orange Business Services was made up in order to offer through a single mark of the solutions of telecommunications bound for the market undertaken.

Orange Business Services is present in 166 countries; its network gives access to 220 countries and territories. It provides a million companies in mobility solutions, 3750 multinationals in networks and services IP and 400  000 small, average and national large companies.

A whole of marks and activities under the same name

Orange Business Services gathers the whole of the activities of telecommunications and Internet of the group France Telecom However it consists of a whole of subsidiary companies which bear from now on the Orange name Business Services. Certain subsidiary companies amalgamated with the France Telecom head office into 2005/2006, others continue to have their statute of subsidiary company. The companies gathered today under the name of Orange Business belonged formerly at France Telecom SA, Equant SA or to Wanadoo SA (amalgamated with France Telecom SA in 2004)

  • France Telecom E-Business : Subsidiary company creates after the repurchase of Internet Telecom and the fusion of various activities of the historical operator. This subsidiary company proposed services of e-CRM, of supply of access Internet in white Marque, activities of cal-center, lodging of Internet sites of large companies (FT Hebérgement), solutions audiotels
  • France Telecom Intelmatique : Services minitels and of access to the databases directories Frenchwomen and foreign
  • CVF (Orange Business Services - online multi-media) : Realization and lodging of solutions and multimedia services (vocal, Internet, mobile, video, sms, sms+, ms…)
  • Wanadoo Services Pro Subsidiary gathering solutions Internet of the operator for SME. Subsidiary company made up of various activities: FT Sites (Lodging of Internet sites of SME), Triel (Web arranges resold since), Télécommerce (solutions of e-business)
  • Almerys (Orange Business - Solutions health) : Solutions of telecommunications for the trades of health (télétransmission.)
  • Setib (Orange Business e-payment and safety) : Solutions electronic moneys and of home-bankings
  • Etrali (Orange Business Trading Solutions) : solutions of telecommunications and information systems for the financial markets
  • Expertel Consulting : The Councils in information systems and telecommunications
  • EGT : Solutions of visionconférence, télémédecine…
  • TRANSPAC : Network management of companies (X25, ATM, XDSL, FrameRelay, rented Connection)
  • Silicomp : The Councils and development of IT solution and advanced technologies
  • Oléane : Supplier of access to Internet bound for the professionals, Registrar and shelterer of Internet sites. Oléane was founded in 1993, at the moment when Internet was a confidential network
  • Groupe Diwan : Integrator specialized in the Voice and information system security and networks on IP
  • Cofratel : Integrator specialized in voice, data and comprehensive solutions in communication of company: study, design, realization, installation and maintenance.
