Orange (: 31923 inhabitants) is a city (" city") of News-Wales of the South, in Australia with 260 kilometers in the west of Sydney to 863 measure altitude.

The economy of the city rests on agriculture (arboriculture with apples, pears, plums, cherries, fishings, apricots, table grapes or of tank but…. no oranges), mining industry (gold mines), departments of health and of education.

The Mount Canobolas (: 1395 meters) located in the vicinity makes it possible to have a splendid sight on all the area.

Orange is one of the rare Australian cities to have snow almost every winter.

It is the birthplace of the poets Banjo Paterson and Kenneth Slessor but the first passed there only the beginning of its childhood.

Orange has an airport (code AITA: CUG).
