Charlotte-Brabantine of Orange-Nassau is the girl of Guillaume Ier of Orange-Nassau and Charlotte de Montpensier (deceased in 1582). It was born on September 27th, 1580 in Antwerp. It is raised by her beautiful mother Louise de Coligny.

Its marriage

She marries on March 11th, 1598 with Châtellerault, Claude of Trémoille. She is the mother of:

• Henri of Trémoille, born in 1598.
• Charlotte of Trémoille, born in 1599, countess of Derby.
• Elisabeth (1601-1604)
• Frederic, born in 1602, count de Laval

Succession

Widow in 1604, it devotes herself to the management of the family inheritance.
