Oralism

The oralism is a method to teach the oral French language ( spoken ) with deaf . The Oralisation is the capacity of the deaf person to be expressed verbally. She is often associated with the spoken language supplemented (LPC).
Practical
This method proves to pose some problems: certain deaf persons will be able oraliser in a sufficiently comprehensible way to never be able to communicate effectively with hearing, whereas others can oraliser in a completely comprehensible way. The success of the Oralisation depends on several factors: profile of deafness, family circle, method of education chosen, rehabilitation, equipment…A quarrel exists between the oralists and signing them who use the LSF .
History
In France, the oralism is current which takes the step on the teaching of LSF (French Langue of the signs) with. After the congress of Milan in 1880, and this during 100 years, it was the only method employed in the schools in order to better integrate the deaf persons into the world of hearing French.
