Opus latericium
the opus latericium (brick apparatus) is a Roman method of construction entirely in brick S. This name of opus often gets busy like synonym of the Opus testaceum, though certain specialists distinguish them between raw bricks ( latericium ) and cooked bricks ( testaceum ).
Since the beginning of the 1st century, the opus latericium replaced the other apparatuses little by little, thanks to its solidity and with its convenience of use.
