Ophioglossum

They are plants with small underground Rhizome. The sling is consistuée of a cylindrical Pétiole carrying a Limbe vegetative entirety and a simple fruit-bearing ear and lengthily stalk, formed of two rows of bags welded by their lower and higher faces.
Ophioglossum have the greatest number of Chromosome S among all the living organisms with a total of 1260 chromosomes.
Etymology
The word Ophioglossum comes from the Greek ophis and glôssa which refers to the form of the fertile part of the sheets.
