Operation the Moon

Opération the Moon is a documentary Faux carried out by William Karel in 2002. It was the subject of a special program with the television channel Arte for on April 1st, 2004.

In backdrop of the intrigue assembled by William Karel: how to cover a possible failure of the mission Apollo 11? To counter any possibility, the American administration would have required of Stanley Kubrick to put in scene the first steps of the Man on the Moon in studio.

Godard first passed to the newspaper of TF1 while saying: “ This direct is a forgery. ” And these doubts are supported by actual facts: Aldrin became alcoholic, Nixon did not attend the launching of the rocket, the astronauts made tens of thousands of kilometers to remain only three hours on the Moon… We thus found that it was a rather funny subject. ”
