The Générali Open of France is a whole of equestrian competitions taking place each year. The tests which proceed there are tests of 5th category (Club & Ponam). Générali Open of France holds place of championship of France for these tests which do not enter the official circuit of the competitions amateurs and pros.
The Open one of France is held since 1994 on the federal equestrian park of Lamotte-Beuvron. Since 2001, the company Générali Assurances sponsors this event which will bear from now on the name of Générali Open of France.
Générali Open of France is held in two parts:
the Open one of France Pony: Ponams tests and clubs B, C and D
It is held the first week of July and joins together all the Ponams tests as well as the Clubs tests of the categories B, C and D in the disciplines Olympic (Saut of obstacles, Dressage and complete Concours). All these tests are reserved for less than 19 years which were qualified during the season according to the scale established each year by the French federation of Horsemanship.
It is held the third week of July and joins together all the Clubs tests which were not run during the Open one of France Pony: the tests Clubs E of the Olympic disciplines and all the tests of the other disciplines.
This test, although being a Ponam test, does not form part of the circuit international amateur. It is precisely at the time of Open of France that the Cavalier S are qualified to take part in the championships of Europe pony: The first 5 riders of the test Grand Prix Elite are qualified. However, in 2005, riding was seen refusing the right to take part in it by the presidency of the BUTTOCK, for political reasons.
