Open Dynamics Engine

Open Dynamics Engine (ODE) is a software Bibliothèque Open source placing in the category of the driving physiques. It is used to simulate the physical interaction of rigid bodies.

ODE is available for several Plate-forme S and uses a Application program interface in C for a greater compatibility, although in-house, the source code is written in C++. It has several types of joints and integrates a detector of collision with friction. The engine uses several integrators according to the precision and of the robustness of simulation desired. Several primitives are available and the engine can manage surfaces made up of triangles.

It is currently used in several video games, of tools 3D and tools for simulation.
