Open Air Theater

The Open Air Theater is located at Regent' S Park in the district of Westminster to London, is an annual theatrical meeting during the three to four summer months. The company which resides at it is the New Shakespeare Company. At each season it is of use to present in alternation the one night Dream of summer , another part of Shakespeare, a musical comedy and a spectacle for child. Generally the actors of the various productions find themselves in several if not all the other parts of the season.

The theater itself is inside the circle of Regent' S Park and is thus surrounded by the park. It is told that it has one of the longest bars of all the London theaters since it is stretched over a length equivalent to those of the sitted places. One serves to with it as the menus as from one hour and half before the beginning of the spectacle until the interval. A barbecue is also organized as of the picnics with tables so that the public can bring its snack there.

At the time of the season 2005 it was represented there the Night of the kings and HMS Pinafore .

In 2006 there was the tamed Shrew , Dream the one night of summer , The Boy Friend and Babe the pig .

The season 2007 will give amongst other things Macbeth , Dream the one night of summer , the musical comedy Lady Be Good , like Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Boy Friend .
