Onychogalea lunata

The wallaby with tail cornea or waurong ( Onychogalea lunata ) is a species of Marsupial disappeared in the Années 1950 but recognized only disappeared in 1982. This species of wallaby was relatively small and very rare. Gould itself does not manage to observe only one in its natural habitat of them so much it was already rare at the 19th century.

The last testimony of its existence, a specimen which would not have been preserved, goes back already to 1956. The last true proof of its existence goes back to 1930, year at the time which the last specimen could have been collected.
