Only against all

Seul against all is a film French carried out by Gaspar Noé in 1998. It is the continuation of its first but noticed medium-length film, Carne (price of the Week of criticism, Cannes 1991).

Gaspar Noé had enormously difficulties in join together the required funds with the Réalisation of this first Feature-length film. Five years will be necessary in order to buckle this financed project refused by all the TVS. Philippe (Nahon) owed réenfiler the same clothing very stiffened by sweat as soon as we had enough money to take again the Tournage.

Synopsis

1980. Coming out of prison, and after having given up his/her daughter for whom it has turbid feelings, an equine ex-butcher decides " to give the meters to zéro" and to start again its life. Only, in a hostile company, with revenge in the middle…
