Onegai Teacher (おねがい ☆ ティーチャー, onegai tīchā , in English Please Teacher ) is televised series of Japanese animation which was diffused from April at October 2002 on WOWOW.

History

It is by a beautiful night of summer that Kei Kusanagi, lengthened in grass at the edge of a lake, will see its transformed life whereas he sees a spaceship which a woman surrounded by strange leaves will have. Taken of panic he flees, stumbles and ends up falling into the lake. With its alarm clock all that seems only one bad dream, since it is in class, with his/her comrades who impatiently await the arrival of the new professor. It is at the time when the professor, Mizuho Kazami, creature of dream to the perfect proportions, enter the class that Kei is struck by the resemblance to the woman of its dream. Its suspicions will not be dissipated with time, since as of the end of the courses here that it notes that this mysterious young woman which says professor is moving in just beside at his place.

Characters

Kei Kusanagi

It is the hero of the history. Shy person and sensitive, it tries to forget his disease while drowning in the daydream. The arrival of Mizuho will upset this state of the things by making it mature and grow. He will learn how to communicate with the others by putting a term at his complexes, of his school level to his relationship with his family while passing by his sexuality.

Kazami (or Kasumi) - Kusanagi Mizuho

It is the heroin of the history. Without it, nothing could have arrived. As naive as nice and generous, Mizuho will do everything to help and like Kei, it which had come to discover its origins. The father of Mizuho was land (deceased today) while his/her mother is extraterrestrial. Physically, it holds especially of her mother. Kei will confuse them besides very often.

Hyôsuke Magumo

It is one of the two best friends of Kei. Dynamics and sure of him, it is the pare-in-train of the group. Its only weakness it is Kaede which he likes more than all. Its greater pride will be besides to succeed in leaving with. (in the manga he wants to leave with ichigo)

Matagu Shidô

The other best friend of Kei. Of contained appearance, it privileges its schooling rather than its love life. It is a character who has enormously evil to affirm himself without to be a timid boy.

Koishi Midorikawa

It is a girlfriend of class of Kei which much it likes. It will be besides the third side of the triangle in love with Kei and Mizuho. But even if it is possessive and given, it does not have anything of one beating nor of malicious and will not manage to make the weight vis-a-vis its competitor. It is one of the reasons which makes of it the most touching character and most whole of the history.

Misumi Kaede

It is the soul mate of Hyôsuke. Their two personalities are identical even if it is most timid of the group. The evolution of their relation will be put besides in parallel on several occasions with that of Mizuho and Kei. The difference in age being can be a big factor in their reciprocal relations.

Ichigo Morino

Calm and icy character, the impression which it releases is terrifying so much it appears insensitive. No positive emotion shows through on its face so much so that the spectator comes from there to wonder whether it has a heart. Its mysterious side betrays in fact an enormous loneliness.

Marie

It is a small flying small beast which accompanies Mizuho everywhere and which is useful to him inter alia with téléporter. If it tests emotions it does not remain less the trip computer of the vessel of Mizuho.

Hatsuho Kazami

It is the mother of Mizuho, which contrary to appearances, wishes only the happiness of the latter. It is besides one of the reasons which pushed it to meet his/her son-in-law.

Maho Kazami

It is the little sister of Mizuho. Graphically it would be believed straight left Sakura Taisen. Maho is an intelligent, cheap gamine and manipulator. All opposite of his/her sister, and it is Kei which will make the expenses of them.
