One off Days Thesis
One off Thesis Days is the first song of the album Meddle of the group English Pink Floyd.
It is about a Instrumental, which opens on a sound of Vent creates by a sound oscillator, followed of two low guitars in Double-track played by David Gilmour and Roger Waters. The instrumental one is broken only towards the end of the song, when a voice recorded at low speed, which gives him a threatening tone, declares: One off thesis days, I' m going to cut you into little parts (“One of these days, I will cut out you of small pieces”). This sentence would be addressed to DJ Jimmy Young, of Radio operator BBC 2.
Gilmour considered this song as being that where the members of the group collaborated the most together.
During the round which followed the album Beautiful The Division , of large inflatable pigs appeared on each side of the scene at the time of One Of Thesis Days , moving their jaws and their face masks in a terrifying way, which accentuated the bestial and frantic side piece.
