One century of writers
One century of writers is a collection of 257 documentary on writer S of the twentieth century, directed and presented by Bernard Rapp in collaboration with Florence Mauro, diffused on television Wednesdays of second part of evening on France 3 of the January 4th 1995 with the February 8th 2001. At the beginning, 260 “episodes” were envisaged. The last emission was devoted to Antoine Chuquet: an imaginary writer.
History
Jean-Pierre Cottet, at the time director of antenna and of the programs of France 3, on the initiative of the series in spring 1994. Their production is entrusted to independent production companies and often famous documentarists. The format of each one of them is that of documentary unit 52 minutes.
