One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest ( One Flew Over the Cuckoo' S Nest ) is a novel of Ken Kesey, published in 1962. The term cuckoo indicates in English the bird cuckoo and a mentally disturbed person, with the image of the patients of the psychiatric hospital of the intrigue. the novel was initially published in France under the name the machine with fog .
The novel was carried to the screen in 1975 by Milos Forman and was interpreted by Jack Nicholson in the role of McMurphy and Louise Fletcher in the role of Ratched Miss.

Synopsis
Randle P. McMurphy is made intern to escape the prison. It will be touched by the distress and the loneliness of the patients. Very quickly, it understands that the nurse as a chief, Miss Ratched, imposed strict rules and intends well to make them respect. It then decides to revolutionize this small world.
