Oma De-salted

Oma Desala is a character of the universe of fiction of the televised series Stargate SG-1 . It appears in two forms in the series: in the form of will have luminous, sign of its rise, or under a human appearance. One sees it for the first time in the series in the episode " Instinct maternel" end of season 3, where it must protect the child from Apophis and Amonet, who has all knowledge of Goa' uld.

Oma Desala occupies a very confused place within the people having made the rise. In the universe of Stargate, when a person carries out the rise, it becomes pure energy and its spirit rises in a higher plan of existence. It results from this more a great power. Only one disadvantage, any person who rises does not have any more the right to act on the businesses of the lower plans of existence, considered as too unimportant. Oma De-salted, it, intervenes several times near beings in a lower plan of existence, such as Daniel Jackson or Anubis. It is used to them thereafter as guide. On the other hand, it must assume only the consequences of them. Its larger error was to raise Anubis. The Others punish it by obliging it to see Anubis acting without it being able to descend it towards a lower plan of existence. Whereas Anubis was about to destroy any life in the galaxy at the end of season 8 of Stargate SG-1 , Oma decides to do what it should have done there is many millenia: to get rid of Anubis in it combatant for eternity.
