Olympic stadium of El Menzah
The Olympic stadium of El Menzah (rear RTL الملعبالأولمبيبالمنزه) is located at the north of Tunis (district of El Menzah).
It is built to accommodate the Mediterranean Jeux 1967. Since, it forms integral part of the landscape tunisois. The sporting Hope of Tunis, the Tunisian Stage and the African Club elected residence there (as well as other teams) and there wrote the most beautiful pages of its history.
The stage is entirely renovated for the Coupe of Africa of the nations 1994. It has a capacity of 45.000 places. Part VIP is composed of a two living room and grandstand being able to accommodate 300 people in configuration “cocktail”.
It was the stage which accommodated the matches team of Tunisia of football until in 2001.
