Olympiad of failures of 1986

The Olympiade of failures of 1986 is a world competition by teams and country organized by FIDE. The countries clash on 4 chess-boards per team of 6 players (4 holders and 2 substitutes) set out again. The female teams have 4 players out of 3 chess-boards. This 27e Olympiade was held from November 14th to December 2nd, 1986 with Dubai, organized by the United Arab Emirates.

The points are not allotted taking into consideration result of the matches inter-nations, but according to the individual results on each chess-board (a point by gained part, half-time for null, zero point for a defeat).

The Soviet team includes/understands Tchibourdanidzé, Akhmilovskaya, Gaprindachvili and Alexandria. She gains her 13 first matches, making tie with the last round against Cuba. Gaprindachvili carries out, as for it, the perfect score with the 3rd chess-board: 10 victories for 10 parts.
