Olsztyn
Olsztyn (German: Allenstein ), town of Poland on the Łyna (Ale), chief town of the Voïvodie de Varmie-Mazurie, of which it is also more the big city. Between 1975 and 1998, Olsztyn was the capital of the Voïvodie of Olsztyn. Located about halfway between Warsaw and Kaliningrad (Kœnigsberg), Olsztyn is an important economic and cultural center north of Poland.
Olsztyn of today
Located in the area of the big lakes of Mazurie, Olszyn is near 15 Lac S of which those of Krzywe, Długie and Rejdykanyà. The city attracts many tourists. Unemployment rate is there one of low in Poland (7,8% in 2006).
