Olivier Smolders
Olivier Smolders is a Belgian scenario writer born the January 4th 1956 with Léopoldville (current Kinshasa) (Belgian Congo, current Democratic republic of Congo.)
Since 1984, it is known for sober court-measurings, of a great esthetic rigor, strips about it often black and white, with the major and morbid topics (love in connection with death, disconcerting intimate confessions), which it carried out in reduced team. These films, close to the new arts person, received many prices with the international scales.
In 2005, left its first feature film, an oneiric film colors on the topic of the metamorphosis: Black night (89 minutes). Of a narrative structure complexes, turned/calibrated numerically (HD), accompanied by a soundtrack who privileges environments compared to the dialogs, it received a contrasted reception of the critic.
