Olivier Reynal

Olivier Reynal is draftsman and a director French of cartoon films.

Biography

Born the May 20th 1970, close to Lyon, raises at the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of Beautiful arts of Bordeaux ENSBA, it is directed towards the cartoon and continues its studies at the School of the Gobelins to Paris.

It makes then long stays abroad. At the time of a stay in Europe, it controls with Riga (Latvia) the animation of episodes of Poil of carrot for television. With Hanoï, with the Vietnam, it carries out the animation of Kirikou and the wild beasts . It is present at the time of the presentation of Kirikou and the mislaid fetish, of which it ensured animation; film extracted from Kirikou and wild beasts , carried out by Michel Ocelot and Benedicte Gallup, presented except competition to the Cannes festival in 2005. The music was entrusted to Youssou Dour and Manu Dibango. Synopsis: the history of Kirikou and the Witch were too short to show all that Kirikou had achieved when it was small. Then of new exploits which had to be told were put in scene. Kirikou, very small, very naked, will face without weakening, with easy way, courage, generosity, and will gain… Its return in France east then of short duration, since it is again since September 2006 in China, for the animation of 52 episodes of Zap college , whose author data base is Téhem.

After a short return to Châteauneuf-on-Charente where it resides since 2006, it is as of the beginning 2007 with Seoul in South Korea, to direct a Studio of animation.
