Olivier Pastré

Olivier Pastré is a French economist born on December 15th 1950 with Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine, Île-de-France). It is currently Professor of economy to the Université of Paris VIII, president of the bank IM Bank (Tunis), and member of the Cercle of the economists.

Its track records cover a broad spectrum of responsibilities, in France and abroad (particularly in the Maghreb): in addition to the scientific functions related to its university statute, he exerted managerial functions between France and the Maghreb as a Managing director of GP Banque (renamed SBFI since 1999), of the responsibilities leading (he in particular created the Repères collection, with the editions the Discovery), and of the missions of study and council for public structures and deprived.

Until June 2007, it delivered each morning with 7:15 on France Culture a short economic chronicle, often in the form of an analysis of a subject of topicality followed by recommendations, and marked by the preoccupation with a balance between dimensions economic and social of the dealt with problem.
