Olivier Measured
Jules-Louis Olivier Métra is a Musicien French born with Rheims, 5, rue Pavée- d' Andouilles (current street of the Dial-Saint-Pierre), the June 2nd 1830, died with Paris the October 22nd 1889, buried with Wood-the-King.
Wire of actors, it was, of all the French type-setters of its style and its time, one of most popular. Everyone knew its Valse S, its Polka S, Mazurka S and square.
It directed in particular the Bal S of the Op3era Comique, the orchestra of the Folies Shepherdess, the balls of the Théâtre of the Currency to Brussels and, finally, those of the Opéra of Paris.
To the Opera, it gave the Ballet Yedda , choreography of Mérante (January 17th 1879).
